MEET YOUR MASTER CAPTAIN – CHRISTINE HOOLEY
Christine Hooley started working for Spirit Cruises as a deckhand in May of 1999. “I quickly grew to love the idea of a job on the water,” she said. “I was lucky to work with some great captains and managers who were willing to show me the proverbial ropes.”
In December 2011 she received her 100GT Master License, and has been a captain in the Boston Fleet since.
Captain Hooley has spent most of her life living south of Boston in Quincy. A big fan of salt water, summer sun and bare feet, she says, “If you’re throwing together a game of volleyball, wiffleball or bag-toss – I’m in!”

MEET YOUR EXECUTIVE CHEF – CHRISTOPHER GREEN
Hailing from Salem, Massachusetts, Christopher Green joined Entertainment Cruises a year ago as sous chef aboard Spirit’s sister ship, the Odyssey.
He’s excited to start a new endeavor as the head chef on the newly renovated Spirit. “It has been an incredible experience to be part of the drastically new concept for the ship,” he said.
As Green describes, “Boston has always been a great place for innovated culinary concepts,” and he’s excited to contribute with his work on the new Spirit!
