At Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, our legendary lagoon-style pool provides a tranquil escape coupled with vibrant activities for people of all ages. Surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, rock formations and modern lighting, our pool boasts 12 waterfalls, a waterslide tower pavilion, water jet splash zone and two whirlpools. The 800,000-gallon, half-acre pool is separated by a rock cave you can swim underneath, with one side being perfect for kids (complete with waterslide) and the other side a more peaceful, quiet setting. Additional features include a rope bridge across the pool, expansive, wraparound sundecks with private cabanas for rent and a poolside lounge serving specialty cocktails, sandwiches and more.

HERE'S THE BEACH SAND ART

Sculpt your very own masterpiece to take home. For a nominal fee, guests can choose from an assortment of jewels, shells and other embellishments to create a fun and unique souvenir. (Hours and availability vary and an adult must accompany children of any age.)

MERMAID ACADEMY

Guests of Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress can now suit up for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Learn how to swim like a mermaid at our unique aquatic attraction, The Mermaid Academy. We also offer shark fins for rent so everyone can enjoy the fun. See the recreation desk by the towel hut for hours of operation. Mermaid Tail - $25 per Hour; Shark Fin - $15 per Hour
