Katherine Marren directs a dynamic instruction program, offering a unique menu of learning experiences to all levers of golfer. The Golf Academy programs include the best and most current technologies for teaching and club-fitting available in the golf industry.
Recently names as "2008 Teacher of the Year" by the Northern California PGA Section, Marren brings a distinguished level of expertise to the Quail Lodge Golf Academy. She has been recognized as an expert teacher and for promoting and growing the game of golf, by Golf for Women, Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, The San Francisco Examiner, The California Golf Guide and the AT&T Junior Golf Association.
Well-known for de-mystifying the golf swing using innovative and effective teaching methods, Marren's students love her relaxed manner, clear teaching style, patience, and genuine care for them and their improvement.

MAT-T Club Fitting System
WHAT IS THE MAT-T SYSTEM?
Motion Analysis Technology by Taylormade (MAT-T) is an extraordinary tool that elevates swing analysis and club fitting to a new level. Previously available only to PGA Tour professional, the MAT-T system gathers vital swing information and statistics using multiple high-speed cameras. Using reflective markers placed on strategic parts of the body, the system creates a three-dimension image of the body and a remarkably sophisticated computer-animated image of the swing, viewable from any angle. Quail Lodge Golf Club is proud to be the only club in Northern California to offer this exciting system.
CUSTOMIZED EQUIPMENT FITTING
MAT-T executes a multitude of calculations and measurements to develop data-driven personal club recommendation. The certified instructional team will analyze the data to identify each golfers' specific needs with remarkable precision. The objective of club-fitting is to provide the player with the proper equipment to maximize their performance in all facets of the game: Driving, Long-Game, Irons, Wedges, Putter and Golf Balls.
Fittings (by appointment) are available in one-hour & two-hour sessions. The MAT-T system is brand neutral.
After each fitting the golfer will recieve specific club recommendations, individual swing data and a playable CD-ROM of each swing to be viewed at home or with an instructor.
While equipment purchase is not required, those who purchase clubs at the time of fitting will receive customization, such as length, lie and loft, at no additional cost. Post-fitting instruction is also available at a discounted rate.

Land Rover Experience Driving School
Open year-round, THE LAND ROVER EXPERIENCE DRIVING SCHOOL provides customized lessons and adventure for all skill levels. Guided by your qualified instructor, you'll make steep descents down a two-track trail, climb piles of logs and navigate tight hairpin turns. Lessons and programs range from one hour to multiple days.
