DUBOSE HOME

The Dubose Home is the heart of the property where guests can enjoy true home cooked meal and southern hospitality whipped up with fresh, seasonal menus that feature house-grown herbs and homemade desserts. Built in 1933, This historic Georgian Revival mansion was the show piece of Meadowmont and believed to be the first home in with central air conditioning. It is available for conference guests as well as for individual guests.

DUBOSE GARDENS

Come explore the 30 acres that surround Rizzo Center. The gardens are located next to the Dubose Home and feature a pergola, circular footpath and a wide trees, shrubs and flowers – a visual delight.

FITNESS CENTER

Get your sweat on in Rizzo’s fully equipped fitness center located on the first floor of McLean Hall. Offers cardio equipment including treadmills, stationary bikes and elliptical machines, free weights, and resistance training area. Step outside and dip into our heated lap pool – open year round.

GIFT SHOP

Get yourself ready to cheer on the Heels!!! Located next to the Front Desk in McLean Hall we offer a selection of UNC souvenirs as well as essentials that may have been forgotten at home.

GUEST PANTRIES AND LAUNDRY

Located on each floor of Mclean Hall. Help yourself to a variety of refreshing beverages, coffee and snacks (did someone say ICE CREAM??) Complimentary washers, dryers and laundry detergent are available as well.

SALES OFFICE

Interested in booking an event at the Rizzo Center? Stop by the Front Desk and ask to speak with someone in our Sales Department about reserving guestrooms, meeting or special events space.

SHUTTLE SERVICE

Need to get around? The Rizzo Center offers complimentary shuttle services within a 5-mile radius. Reservations are recommended and can be made with the Front Desk.

SPORTS BAR

Ready to wind down? Located on the first floor of McLean hall. Our UNC themed sports bar offers a relaxing environment for you to enjoy our pub menu, drinks (including local beers and moonshine) and socialize. Features big-screen TVs, billards and an outdoor patio to enjoy the awesome Carolina weather. Food service closes at 10PM and the bar closes at 11PM.
