Blackbird Falls Putting Course Hours: Daily 8:00 am – 8:00 pm

Designed for fun and excitement, Blackbird Falls Putting Course gives kids and adults the chance to develop and test their golfing skills. This dynamic course boasts bunkers and water hazards, just like a full-size course, but on a smaller scale.

Situated adjacent to the Marshes Golf Club, this 18-hole, par-42 putting course is landscaped with armor and river stone backdrops, waterfalls, and inspiring features that highlight the beauty of the natural surroundings.

Complimentary bicycles available for adult and junior guests (seasonally), including helmets, locks, and cycling trail maps. Guests have complimentary use of the bicycles for the first 2 hours. After 2 hours, a flat daily rate of $10 will be charged. We do not accept reservations for bikes. Please inquire with Guest Services upon check-in for more information.

The ultimate Kanata gym, Flex Fitness Studio provides guests and members with a safe and empowering space to carve out some time to do their bodies good.

Our fitness facilities come equipped with extensive fitness equipment, saltwater pools, and hot tubs all in one spot. We make available memberships, fitness classes, and personal training for purchase.

The Marchwood European PGA-approved short course is a truly unique small-scale version of The Marshes Golf Course. Marchwood is an executive golf course designed for golfers, by golfers. It provides golfers with a true test of ability in a shorter time.

Composed of all par-three holes, Marchwood offers a golfing experience unlike any other in Ottawa. Every caliber of golfer is challenged, from the experienced player looking to sharpen their short game to the beginner and novice golfer looking for an executive golf course that's hospitable and playful.

Our indoor saltwater pool is located in Flex Fitness Studio, and has an adjacent wading pool for children, hot tub, and sprawling lounge area. Our seasonal 30-foot outdoor pool is also saltwater, and is accompanied by a wading pool, hot tub, and a lounge/patio area for your enjoyment. We make available outdoor pool food and beverage service during the summer.

OUTDOOR FUN & GAMES

Across the hotel grounds kids can enjoy an outdoor table tennis table, chess tables, and kids playground rocking riders. Visit Flex Fitness Studio on the 2nd Floor for game accessories.

SKATING RINK

Experience winter by skating in the fresh air on an outdoor ice skating rink. Our skating is open during the winter, weather permitting, and is floodlit at night. Check in at Flex Fitness Studio, located on the 2nd floor, regarding skates and ice condition.

SHUTTLE SERVICE

Brookstreet provides a shuttle service for guests to the Canadian Tire Centre for events, concerts, and hockey games as well as a weekend service to the Tanger Outlet Mall and the Kanata Centrum. We do not take reservations in advance for the shuttle, however upon arrival at Brookstreet, you can sign up for it at Guest Services. Our shuttle service is available on a first come first served basis (there are limited spots available).

We also run a shuttle service Monday to Friday to the surrounding Kanata office building from 8:00 am – 10:00 am (leaving from the hotel entrance every 30 minutes) and in the afternoon from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm (The shuttle will circle the local offices every 30 minutes, and pick up guests outside the front entrance of the office building). The shuttle is available on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved.

Weekend Kids Activities and Crafts

Join our activities partner in Zone 525 for free family weekend activities. Every weekend we have a different selection of activities, including cookie decorating, science experiments, treasure hunts, crafts, movie nights, and more. Check with our guest services team when you arrive for the latest schedule. (Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.)

GAMES ROOM

Zone 525 Games Room Hours: Daily 8:00 am – 11:00 am

Located on the Main Floor.

Our Games Room includes an ‘EyeClick’ interactive floor game, arcade games, bubble hockey, Xbox One, Wii, kids play structure, and cinema-style mini movie theater. You also can borrow videos, games, and movies from the front desk.
